Crosby Training provides confidential, impartial IAG to learners on Adult Skills Funded training across Liverpool City Region, collaborating with DWP, employers, and partners. IAG supports learners both distant from and close to the labour market, aligning training to local skills gaps. The service maintains the Matrix Standard across seven element.
IAG OBJECTIVES

IAG STRATEGY
Application: Help applicants select suitable programmes and redirect ineligible participants.
Programme Start: Initial assessment and induction to set individual learning plans.
During Training: Reviews to support retention, completion, and qualification achievement.
Exit: Guidance for progression to employment, further education, or Next Steps support centre.
PROCEDURES: IAG must be:
Impartial and signposting to other providers.
Confidential, compliant with Data Protection Act and Matrix standards.
Inclusive, proactive, and accessible.
Delivered by trained, professional staff.
Linked with partnerships for appropriate learner support.
Targeted to learner, staff, and employer needs.
Support includes sector information, wellbeing resources, partner guidance, and access to Next Steps jobsearch services.
