SUSTAINABILITY

Crosby Training is committed to reducing its environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices across all areas of its operations. Sustainability is embedded into decision-making, resource management, procurement, travel, and day-to-day working practices.

SCOPE

This policy applies to office operations, facilities management, procurement activities, waste and recycling arrangements, energy and water consumption, work-related travel, and staff engagement in sustainable practices.

LEGAL & BEST PRACTICE FRAMEWORK

Crosby Training operates in accordance with relevant environmental legislation and recognised good practice relating to waste management, recycling, resource efficiency, and the reduction of carbon emissions.

CARBON NEUTRALITY & ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY

The organisation seeks to reduce emissions through responsible operational practices and offsets unavoidable emissions through recognised carbon reduction initiatives. Opportunities to further reduce environmental impact are reviewed regularly.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Energy, water, equipment, and materials are managed responsibly. Measures include energy-saving systems, reduced printing, sustainable purchasing, recycling initiatives, and environmentally responsible disposal of waste and obsolete equipment.

PROCUREMENT & TRAVEL

Where practical, Crosby Training aims to source goods and services responsibly, support local suppliers, and minimise transport-related emissions. Consideration is given to environmental impact when making purchasing and travel decisions.

STAFF ENGAGEMENT

Staff are expected to support sustainability objectives by using resources responsibly, following environmental procedures, reducing waste, and contributing ideas for improvement. Sustainability awareness is promoted through internal communications and organisational activities.

MONITORING & IMPROVEMENT

Environmental performance, sustainability initiatives, and operational practices are monitored and reviewed regularly. Improvement opportunities are considered as part of planning and management processes.

Crosby Training aims to reduce energy consumption, maximise recycling, promote sustainable procurement, support lower-emission travel, maintain progress towards carbon neutrality, and foster a culture of environmental responsibility across the organisation.
