Jobs and Skills:
Vocational training, employability support, and personal development for learners.
Complementary initiatives for staff: mental wellbeing sessions, access to services (e.g., salon), additional time off, mentoring, and career development.
Outcome measures include increased sustained employment and skill attainment (TOMS NT1, NT7, NT9, NT11, NT20).
Growth, Social, and Innovation:
Engagement with local employers and business partnerships.
Collaboration with voluntary and social enterprise sectors.
Piloting innovative projects to improve learner and community outcomes.
Community and learner participation is voluntary, age-appropriate, supervised, and risk-assessed.
Partnerships:
Collaboration with local organisations such as Tradewind, Sefton @ Work, Daisy Inclusive UK, Liverpool John Lennon Airport, Rice Lane City Farm, and Change Grow Live.
New partnerships require pre-approval via the Social Value Lead using a safeguarding, quality, and impact checklist.
GOVERNANCE
Social Value Lead: Oversees, monitors, and reports Social Value activities; approves partnerships; aligns initiatives with strategic objectives.
Staff: Deliver training, mentoring, and community engagement; report data to support monitoring.
Learners: Participate in organised community activities under supervision.
Partners: Collaborate on projects and provide feedback on measurable outcomes.
MONITORING & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Quarterly monitoring of KPIs against TOMS framework themes.
Stakeholder feedback informs policy updates; all records retained for at least six years.
