This policy ensures learners can access high-quality education through blended and remote learning, supporting continued progress towards qualifications and personal goals. It establishes standards for delivery, assessment, safeguarding, and quality assurance while meeting awarding body and regulatory requirements.

DELIVERY & LEARNER SUPPORT
Learning may be delivered through approved online platforms, live sessions, self-directed study, and digital learning resources. Learners are supported through regular tutor contact, access to learning materials, pastoral support, and guidance on using digital platforms. Where required, equipment, connectivity support, or alternative resources may be provided to remove barriers to participation.
SAFEGUARDING & ONLINE SAFETY
Learners receive guidance on online safety, appropriate behaviour, and reporting concerns. All digital platforms and learning activities must comply with safeguarding requirements, data protection legislation, and UK GDPR. Staff are trained to identify and respond to safeguarding concerns in remote learning environments.
ASSESSMENT & QUALITY ASSURANCE
Assessment activities comply with awarding body requirements and are designed to be fair, valid, and secure. Learner work is authenticated, feedback is provided promptly, and quality assurance processes ensure standards remain consistent across all delivery methods.
ACCESSIBILITY, ENGAGEMENT & CONTINUITY
Learner engagement and progress are monitored regularly, with additional support provided where concerns arise. Reasonable adjustments and accessible learning resources are available to support learners with additional needs.
