I pledge to support people with eating disorders in my community

From the 23rd of February to the 1st of March 2026, we will be taking time to engage with Eating Disorder Awareness Week; a nationally recognised event with the sole aim of improving public understanding of various disorders – including, Anorexia Nervosa, Avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), Binge Eating Disorder (BED), Bulimia Nervosa, Orthorexia, Other specified feeding or eating disorder (OSFED), PICA, Rumination Disorder and T1DE.

This years’ theme is community, a topic that is our close to our hearts and plays a role in everyone’s daily life. Friends, family, peers and colleagues all form part of our very own Crosby Training community and can have a role to play in ensuring those with eating disorders feel safe, supported and understood.

Right now, at least 1.25 million people in the UK are living with an eating disorder, and millions more support them.

You can find out more about specific eating disorders here. If you’re in need of immediate support, you should always contact emergency services first.
