In May 2026, we will be supporting Mental Health Awareness Week. With January already coming to a close, it’s time to start making preparations for what’s set to be a bumper week of raising awareness.
The theme this year is ACTION, so we want to encourage as many people as possible to take action for mental health between the 11th to the 17th of May.
You could take ACTION for yourself – by choosing a positive action that works for you. You could take ACTION for someone else – by being a positive influence on their day. You could even take ACTION for the wider community – by taking part in events and supporting positive organisations in your local area and beyond.

ACTION can be simple, sometimes just one small change to your daily routine can have a huge mental health impact. You could give yourself 10 minutes a day to take a walk around the block, call a friend and invite them over for a coffee, or even just send a text to a colleague asking them about their day. These tiny steps are all positive ACTIONS and can make a massive difference.
There are 4 months to go until the big week! So, there’s plenty of time to come up with some great ideas. We’d love to hear suggestions from you and encourage you to head over to our contact page to tell us more. You could do something big – like Julie, who decided to raise money for The Little Princess Trust – or something small – like Alan, who took his learners for a trip to the British Music Museum.
