We’re Still Here For You – Upcoming Courses Jan 2021

Lockdown is here again, but that does not mean we’re going to stop offering you the training and support you need in order to develop your skills and find employment. Our goal has always been to be here for you – no matter what the circumstances – so, although courses may not be delivered in exactly the same way, we’ve got some really exciting opportunities for you to get involved in.

Drive 4 Care – Inductions 06/01/21 and 13/01/21

Are you interested in the working the care or support work sector but find yourself unable to do so because you haven’t got a driving licence? If so, then this is the course for you.

Drive 4 Care is a dedicated training programme which links directly with employers across the North West within the care and support work sectors.

If you’re unable to drive, it offers assistance in applying for and securing your provisional driving licence – as well as free driving lessons after the course is successfully completed.

If you’re already able to drive, then you can still enjoy all of the other benefits of the course; including a guaranteed interview with the attached employer.

Warehousing Pre-Employment – Inductions 06/01/21

Offering access to specific warehousing qualifications and certificates – including, Fork Lift Truck Licences – this course gives you the perfect kick-start towards securing a role within the sector.

Whether you’ve worked in warehousing before and need a skills refresh, or are brand-new to the industry and looking for a strong place to start, our expert tutors can get you on the right path.

Get Smart – Inductions 14/01/21 and 28/01/21

All Get Smart attendees will receive shopping vouchers upon successful completion of their course – which can be used towards everything from interview clothes to laptops for job search. It’s our longest running programme and a great opportunity to develop your skills towards the job of your choosing!

It doesn’t matter whether you want to be a retail assistant or hairdresser, a restaurant chef or a call centre operative, Get Smart is built so that you can get the best out of the programme for your own specific targets.

Digital Skills – Inductions 12/01/21

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, digital skills have became even more important than ever before – and we know that this can be a daunting thing. If you don’t have any computer skills – or just feel a bit rusty when it comes to seeking opportunities online – then navigating the job market can feel like an almost impossible challenge.

On our digital skills courses, we’ll work closely with you to identify the issues you have when using the computer and deliver you a programme that caters to your specific needs. Whether it’s learning how to upload your CV to a job site or understanding how to attach a Word document to an email, we’ll take things at your pace and promise that, by the time you leave us, you’ll see a marked improvement in your ability.
